2019 Michael Weiner Scholarship for Labor Studies Recipient — Neil Damron



Neil Damron, who is entering his third year at Stanford Law School, is committed to advancing the rights of low-income workers. He is currently a summer law clerk for the Wage Protection Program at Legal Aid at Work in San Francisco, and previously interned at National Employment Law Project. During law school, he has served as a research assistant to former-NLRB Chairman, William Gould IV, and led the Economic Advancement Program Pro Bono in East Palo Alto. Before law school, Neil worked in policy research at the Urban Institute, focusing on workforce development programs for low-wage workers, and volunteered regularly at workers' rights clinic in Washington, D.C.
