Professional ballplayers face many unique challenges and opportunities, and it is critical to take ownership and educate yourself when it comes to personal finances in order to maximize your playing career and lay a solid financial foundation for your life and goals. This event features presentations from industry experts and Player to Player conversations, and it covers key personal finance concepts that should be on your radar during each stage of your playing career and beyond.
PRESENTERS AND PANELISTS


Jonathan Perrin
Jonathan Perrin is a former Player whose pro career spanned five seasons, including stops with the Milwaukee Brewers and Kansas City Royals organizations, as well as internationally in both Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Jonathan began his career in the finance industry while still in pro ball, with his first clients being his teammates. Since retiring, Jonathan now works as CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ at Intellicents Investment Solutions, focused on building comprehensive financial planning strategies for individual clients and their families.
Jacob Turner
Jacob was the 9th overall pick in the 2009 MLB draft by the Detroit Tigers. He reached the big leagues as a 20-year-old and went on to play 11 years professionally both at the MLB level as well as internationally in the KBO. Upon retiring, Jacob founded Moment Private Wealth, an advisory firm specializing in serving professional athlete and high growth entrepreneurs. Jacob’s passion is using his shared experience as a former professional athlete and current entrepreneur to help clients navigate many of the same complexities he has navigated. Jacob resides in St. Louis, MO with his wife and four kids.



Grace Yoon
Grace Yoon is Head of Strategic Partnerships & Community Impact at Rockefeller Capital Management. She is a member of the firm's Management Committee. As Head of Strategic Partnerships & Community Impact for the firm, Grace is responsible for deepening client relationships and elevating client engagement for the Rockefeller Global Family Office. In this role, Grace is focused on enhancing the overall client experience, including engagement with multi-generational families and the next generation, and leads the Rockefeller Financial Education and Lifestyle Advisory programs for clients. She is also responsible for curating and managing key relationships with strategic partners and is Co-Chair of the Rockefeller Next Gen Advisory Council.
James M. Beale
James M. Beale is National Business Development Director for Rockefeller Global Family Office. As National Business Development Director, James is responsible for leading the firm’s Sports & Entertainment Business in addition to Advisor Practice Management and Relationship Management. James joined Rockefeller in April 2020, leading and shaping the firm’s Capital Markets and Managed Solutions Businesses. Prior to joining Rockefeller, James spent 16 years with Merrill Lynch. Before joining Merrill Lynch in 2004, James started his career in finance at Scudder Investments after concluding a professional hockey career in Europe and the U.S.


Mallory Findley
Mallory Findley is Head of Financial Education on the Strategic Partnerships & Community Impact team at Rockefeller Capital Management. In this role, Mallory is responsible for the curation of new educational content, enhancing the financial education experience for clients and their families, and growing the Rockefeller Financial Education offering through both client-customized and Rockefeller-driven programs. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Mallory worked for Morgan Stanley’s Family Office Resources Team within the Private Wealth Division. She has also held Wealth Strategist roles with Venture Visionary Partners, a New York City-based single-family office, and the UBS Family Advisory Team within the UBS Global Family Office.
